doses of what matters
This is absolutely beautiful. Something like this really makes me think twice about how much I appreciate my parents and my loved ones.

the next step

I’ve finally decided to take upon my tumblr account into a whole new direction, through a differing process. How you may ask? Being in my third year as a communication arts student I need to start writing, blogging, and get my foot into the media door in some way or some form right? So instead of doing the average reblogging of this - reblogging of that whilst perishing my time through facebook; I now want to publish to the internet much more personal facets and i guess use my time much more wisely. Some may say being in my last year of my bachelor … it’s a little late right? I honestly couldn’t agree more, but only has there been an occurrence now where I feel not entirely; but comfortably ready to write. This blog is not meant to become mainstream nor attract a great number of followers or readers. It doesn’t matter if 5 people read my blogposts or 30 people read my posts, as long as I am able to interrupt the mind of at least one person to read what I have to say, my purpose has been achieved. I am no superb writer, journalist, and honestly I have never been successful in creative writing. But if my writing can make sense, relate, and thunder off a mere sense of familiarity - that is all that matters. So happy reading, I’m not going to finish this post with a cliche’ inspirational comment, so sorry for already breaking some conventions. But instead here’s a picture (funny, yet slightly inappropriate) I found after google image searching ‘social media’ that I would like to share …

Wish me luck, and let’s see how long I can commit to this medium of social media.

Bob Marley on how to love a woman
“You may not be her first, her last, or her only. She loved before she may love again. But if she loves you now, what else matters? She’s not perfect - you aren’t either, and the two of you may never be perfect together but if she can make you laugh, cause you to think twice, and admit to being human and making mistakes, hold onto her and give her the most you can. She may not be thinking about you every second of the day, but she will give you a part of her that she knows you can break - her heart. So don’t hurt her, don’t change her, don’t analyze and don’t expect more than she can give. Smile when she makes you happy, let her know when she makes you mad, and miss her when she’s not there.”
